Using a graphic organiser
ResourceThis activity provides the children with an opportunity to consider the function of the parts of a flower by thinking about what would happen if each part were missing.
Pupils will discuss and record what would happen to the plant if each part of the flower were missing. There is an opportunity here for pupils to increase their scientific vocabulary.
As an extension, the children could be encouraged to dissect a flower.
